Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of The Mob State website, web game and related services (“Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our digital goods purchase policy.

Eligibility and account

You must meet any minimum age shown at registration for your region. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information and keeping your credentials confidential. You may also create or sign in with Facebook, Google or Discord; you remain responsible for that provider account and for completing any extra profile steps we require. You are responsible for activity under your account unless you notify us promptly via support or info@themobstate.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Licence to use the Service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for entertainment in line with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Acceptable use

You agree not to cheat, exploit bugs for unfair advantage, harass others, distribute malware, scrape or overload our systems without permission, impersonate staff, or use the Service for unlawful purposes. We may investigate reports and apply sanctions including warnings, suspensions or termination.

Virtual items and payments

Optional purchases may be available for virtual goods or features. Such purchases are subject to our Purchase of Digital Goods policy and checkout terms. Virtual items have no real-world cash value outside the Service except where mandatory law says otherwise.

User content

Where the Service allows you to submit text, images or other material, you retain ownership you already hold but grant us a licence to host, display and moderate that content as needed to operate the Service. You must have rights to anything you submit and must not upload unlawful or infringing material.

Availability and changes

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features for maintenance, balance, legal or security reasons. We may update these Terms; continued use after notice where permitted by law constitutes acceptance of material changes.

Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss where allowed. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable mandatory consumer law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive termination.

Governing law

Unless mandatory local law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
